For tai chi and qi gong, it's important to wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Ideally, choose loose-fitting clothes made of breathable fabrics, such as cotton or linen, to help you stay relaxed and focused during practice. Comfortable shoes, preferably flat and flexible, are also recommended to support your balance and movements although some students choose to remove their shoes. Remember, the goal is to feel at ease as you flow through each posture.
